This ‘Active Listening and Inquiry’ module is designed to help learners develop their active listening skills. This training focuses on cultivating a psychologically safe conversation, prioritizing the needs of others, leading with curiosity, normalizing other’s experiences, and communicating respect, dignity, kindness and positive intent. Learners will practice using natural and empathetic paraphrase, summarize themes and ask clarifying questions to confirm understanding, and use verbal affirmations to build trust.
