Dynamics of Trust
In this module, learners must help Lexi Lux, Sales Manager at Biz-R Market, gain the trust of one of her employees, Sasha Estrada, in order to convince him not to quit in the wake of a major mistake. By helping the two communicate, the learner allows them build a strong foundation of trust for the future.

Learners will be notified when their performance will be scored and can return to the menu before proceeding. Green, yellow and red visual cues indicate the quality of their response.

Lesson description
  • Speak with your assistant, Nia Okoro, about your upcoming meeting with Lexi Lux.
  • Lexi Lux, Sales Manager at Biz-R Market, has come to chat about something that’s not quite right at work: one of her new employees, Sasha Estrada, has made a mistake that cost the team a sale, and now he can’t seem to get out of a mental slump. Talk with Lexi to get to the heart of the problem.
  • After speaking with you about Sasha's mistake, Lexi has found a point of connection with him: a similar mistake that she made when she was new to sales. It's a connection she is reluctant to share with her employees, out of fear of judgement and of losing their respect. Help Lexi discuss her past error, encouraging her to be open with Sasha in order to help him feel less alone and to help gain his trust.
  • Facilitate a discussion between Lexi and Sasha about the mistakes that each of them have made. Find common ground between their struggles, and delve into the insecurities and concerns that Sasha holds that led him to react so strongly to losing a sale. Through openness and honesty, find a way to build a solid foundation of trust between the two, and pave the way for a strong future bond.
