Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging
Following a summit at Levitt Heights University, learners engage in a discussion about how to support neurodiverse employees in the workplace with other innovation hub businesses. The learner helps Recipe Box make a plan to develop a more inclusive and accomodating workplace for neurodiverse employees.

Learners will be notified when their performance will be scored and can return to the menu before proceeding. Green, yellow, and red visual cues indicate the quality of their response.

Lesson description
  • Speak with your assistant, Nia Okoro, about attending the upcoming Neurodiversity in the Workplace summit at Levitt Heights University.
  • After a long summit at Levitt Heights University, you, Lexi Lux, Koko Swiftwater, and Nia Okoro have retired to a quiet spot on campus to discuss ideas that were brought to the forefront during the event.
  • Later, having returned to the commissioner's office, Nia expresses further thoughts on the Neurodivergency in the Workplace summit, and passes on the stories of people across the innovation hub who have come forward to share their experiences with the commissioner.
  • After some back-and-forth with Jana Che at Recipe Box Express, you and Nia have set up an informal lunch-and-learn for Recipe Box employees to discuss how their business could better support neurodivergent employees. Jana Che, Camila Laferte, and Nestor Romero have all showed up for an open discussion.
