Lesson description
  • Speak with your assistant, Nia Okoro, about your upcoming meeting with Akira Tanaka.
  • You meet with Akira Tanaka, who has reached out to express their concerns about feeling isolated while working remotely at Biz-R Market. They feel that their in-person colleagues have the chance to bond, but any remote or hybrid workers don’t have the same opportunities, which has caused morale to suffer amongst the remote segment of Biz-R. Provide tips on how Akira might better connect with their coworkers and promise to investigate the matter further.
  • You meet with Hannah Parker in both her capacity as HR Manager at Biz-R and as an innovation hub expert and consultant to discuss Akira’s feelings of isolation and lack of trust. Hannah, having previously been unaware of the lack of trust present between remote and in-person employees, begins to suggest solutions. Hannah determines that team-building exercises, if implemented effectively, could help employees build up long-term trust despite the digital environment.
  • After talking with Hannah and determining the potential that team-building exercises could have in building trust between the remote and in-person employees at Biz-R, you meet with Hannah and Akira to discuss implementation strategies. Get to the heart of why remote employees have issues with trust, overcome Akira’s doubts, and develop a collaborative solution that everyone can get behind.
